All HazMat personnel working at industries that transport, ship, or receive hazardous materials are required to complete DOT or NFPA Hazardous Material Safety and Security training. This includes employees who unload, handle, label or prepare/read shipping manifests. Very important for all firefighters and other first responders to have some level of Hazmat knowledge.
